User Data Deletion Instructions for Eklipz
At Eklipz we are committed to protecting your privacy and providing you with control over your personal data. If you wish to delete your user account and all associated personal data from our systems, please follow the instructions below.
Your Right to Erasure:
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
How to Request Data Deletion:
To initiate a data deletion request, please use one of the following methods:
 * Via Email:
   Send an email to support@eklipz.in with the subject line "Data Deletion Request - [Your Username or Registered Email]". In the email body, please provide:
   * Your full name
   * The email address associated with your Eklipz account
   * Your username (if applicable)
   * A brief reason for your deletion request (optional, but helpful for us to improve our services)
 * Through Your Account (If applicable - e.g., via a "Delete Account" button/link in user settings):
   If your Eklipz.in account offers an in-app or in-website option for account deletion, navigate to your "Settings" or "Profile" section within your account dashboard. Look for a "Delete Account" or "Erase Data" option and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your request.
What Happens After Your Request:
 * Confirmation of Receipt: We will acknowledge receipt of your data deletion request within 10 business days.
 * Verification: We may need to verify your identity to ensure the security of your data. This may involve sending a confirmation link to your registered email address or asking for additional information.
 * Data Deletion Process: Once your identity is verified, we will proceed with the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data from our active systems. This includes, but is not limited to, your profile information, activity history, and any content you may have submitted, unless we are legally obligated to retain certain information or it falls under a permissible exemption.
 * Notification to Third Parties: We will instruct any service providers or third parties with whom your data was shared to delete your personal information from their records as well, where applicable and technically feasible.
 * Completion Notification: We aim to complete your data deletion request within 30 calendar days from the date of your verified request. In some complex cases, this period may be extended, and we will inform you of any such extension and the reasons for it.
Important Considerations:
 * Irreversibility: Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
 * Exemptions: In certain situations, we may be legally required or permitted to retain some data (e.g., for transactional records, fraud prevention, or legal compliance). If your request cannot be fully fulfilled due to such an exemption, we will inform you of the reason.
